OpenNeo is designed with privacy as the top priority. Your data belongs to you.
Local-first
All data is stored on your Mac. No data is sent to external servers by default. Agent execution, model inference, and file access are all processed locally.
No Data Collection
OpenNeo does not collect or sell your data by default. Usage analytics and telemetry are opt-in and no information is sent externally unless enabled.
Opt-in Diagnostics
Diagnostic data submission for app improvement is completely opt-in. Only when explicitly enabled in settings will anonymized crash reports and basic usage statistics be sent.
Explicit Cloud Approval
All connections to external APIs like Claude, GPT, etc. require explicit user approval. You can verify what data is sent to which service. Network control via policies is always enforced.
